Sky Hook Digital: patient-specific digital orthopedic support system
AXIS-ASSET-2026-000002
Patient-specific digitally designed extraoral chin-support device developed for maxillary protraction. The Digital Sky Hook integrates non-contact facial surface acquisition, CAD-based design, additive manufacturing, and a hybrid resin–metal framework. This AXIS record documents the device and its supporting technical evidence, including the published JDHAB article, design files, manufacturing records, figures, tables, geometric comparison data, and provenance documentation. Identifiable facial and clinical materials are excluded from public access and may be maintained only under restricted control. AXIS records identity, provenance, access conditions, and file integrity. This registration does not constitute regulatory approval, certification of clinical effectiveness, or declaration of scientific merit.
