AXIS does not replace journals, repositories, peer review or permanent preservation networks. It provides a structured layer where scientific assets can be described, checked, versioned, linked and validated through explicit evidence.

Identity Every asset receives a structured record, version context and canonical validation path.
Integrity Files can be associated with checksums, public evidence packages and verification history.
Continuity Objects, contributors, institutions and relationships remain traceable as the platform evolves.

AXIS supports evidence infrastructure for journals, institutions and research groups without selling editorial outcomes. Commercial services must remain separate from peer review, manuscript evaluation and scientific acceptance.
